Rules on Well Driller Licensing; Construction, Repair and Plugging of Wells

State Engineer Adopts Rules and Regulations for Well Driller Licensing; Construction, Repair and Plugging of Wells (effective date August 31, 2005): Revised rules and regulations for Well Driller Licensing; Construction, Repair and Plugging of Wells were adopted by the State Engineer on August 31, 2005. The rules and regulations were made public in November of 2004, went to hearing in Santa Fe on January 10, 2005, and were revised as appropriate in response to public comments.
The rules were filed under Title 19, Chapter 27, Part 4 of the New Mexico Administrative Code.
