From I-10, take the Hwy 180 exit, go south on Gold Ave., turn right on W. Hemlock St., left on S. Tin St.

District 3 Reserve Satellite Office at the Catron County Court House

Representatives from the District 3 Office of the State Engineer (OSE) are located at the Catron County Courthouse, District Attorney's Office, 101 Main Street, Reserve, New Mexico, on the third Tuesday of every month. The office hours are from 10:00 am to 2:00 pm and the phone number is (575) 533-6423.

OSE representatives are available to provide assistance with water rights questions and other water related issues of the local area. Application forms are available for applying for permits to drill new wells. The OSE representatives can provide assistance in the completion of the forms for filing.

Anyone having interest in particular water rights issues are encouraged to contact the Gila-San Francisco Basin Supervisor, Tim Farmer at (575) 546-2851. Appointments are not required; however, walk-in visitors will be assisted on a first-come, first-serve basis.
