Rio Gallinas Basin

The Rio Gallinas Basin is an area that is dominated by surface water rights and is highly susceptible to drought. The City of Las Vegas, the Rio Gallinas acequias, and the Storrie Project Water Users have been discussing the division of the water supply for the last 100 years.
