Rio Grande Basin - Reservoir Information

Reservoir elevation levels fluctuate greatly depending upon the time of year and user demand. Reservoirs are operated for specific purposes—storage for flood control, irrigation, hydroelectric power, and recreation. Rarely does a reservoir maintain a consistent elevation level for any length of time.
